The Numb Scroll
(Japanese: かなしばりの巻物) is a Scroll in 
Torneko's Great Adventure: Mystery Dungeon. This Item appears in the Mysterious Dungeon where it is relatively common and the Bonus Dungeon where it is relatively rare. On use, this scroll will Paralyse all monsters on tiles adjacent to Torneko for a maximum of 8 paralysed monsters.
Tips For Use
- Players can use Numb Scroll to escape battles when Torneko is low on HP or to turn the tide in their favor when fighting too many monsters at once. The paralysed monsters can then be killed safely by standing at a distance, with projectiles and other ranged damage source, or they can be left alone.
- One effective strategy to deal with Monster Houses is to paralyse a monster at the entrance with a Numb Scroll and then safely deal with monsters on the tiles left and right of the entrance with projectiles and other range damage source.
- When chased by a large amount of enemies, going into a hallway then paralysing the foremost monsters to block all of them can spare players a difficult fight. Beware that monsters will spread around the dungeon once they've lost view of Torneko.
