Items (Japanese: 道具) in Torneko's Great Adventure: Mystery Dungeon(UT) - This is an unofficial translation. are used by Torneko, or monsters while in dungeons. Most items fall under the category of wearable, consumable (edible), or consumable (inedible).

Acquisition

Items found in dungeons are obtained by one of several different methods: They can be looted, purchased, sold, or dropped by monsters.

Looting

Items found on the floor in dungeons can be picked up off the ground. They will be added to the player's inventory unless it is full, in which case Torneko will step on them. The player must then remove an item from their inventory (either by throwing or consuming it) and select "Grab" in the menu to add the item to their inventory. Torneko is able to carry 20 items.

Occasionally, monsters may drop an item. Either one they've picked up off the dungeon floor or randomly. From there, they will be considered free for the taking.

Using Items

Torneko and enemies can use items in dungeons.

Item Destruction

Torneko and enemies can destroy items in dungeons. A few traps can also destroy them once triggered.
