The Kigny (Japanese: キグニ族) monster family is a monster present in the Shiren the Wanderer series. It made its debut in Template:GameTitle in 1995, making it one of the Original Monster Families.

Related additional monsters include the King of the Kigny that first appeared in Template:GameTitle in 2006, and a cameo appearance in the Danganronpa series in 2021, under the name Gangstakuma.

The Kigny Family consists of:

  1. Kigny (Japanese: キグニ族)
  2. Kigny2 (Japanese: キグニ族2)
  3. Kigny3 (Japanese: キグニ族3)
  4. Kigny4 (Japanese: キグニ族4)
  5. Kigny5 - 99 (Japanese: キグニ族5-99)

Biography

Characteristics

While it levels up and changes colors like other monster families in the games, its name remains the same, only adding a number to the end. This mechanic is used in various games in the series for monsters that can level up past their normal levels, such as a Gitan Mamel45 in Shiren 3.
