This page is part of a series of Rosetta Stone pages for Nintendo DS Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer 5 - The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate. This page covers Gameplay Elements. Most terminology is borrowed from |PlayStation Vita Shiren 5 Vita, though Nintendo DS Shiren 1 DS is often listed as it was the first game to use them because PlayStation Vita Shiren 5 Vita didn't change the localized names.

Notes

  1. They're also referred to as "Adventure Log" officially in Shiren 1 DS, and Shiren 3 Wii.
  2. |PlayStation Vita Shiren 5 Vita was the first localized game to feature the Day/Night mechanic.
  3. Shiren 1 DS never directly refers to the Fusion mechanic by name.
  4. Nintendo DS Shiren 1 DS and Wii Shiren 3 Wii refer to them as "Seals", but there are various Status Abnormalities and the "Sealed" item state that would otherwise make using this name untenable.
  5. Nintendo DS Shiren 1 DS uses "Main Menu". We've chosen to use "Top Menu" as that's what they're called in Japanese, and for the sake of consistency.
  6. Datamined.
  7. Shiren 1 DS uses "Traveler Rescue", which we've chosen to ignore because it's gross and strips the series of its identity.
