The Winds of Kron (Japanese: クロンの風) is a Dungeon gameplay mechanic in Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer 5 - The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate. The Winds of Kron acts as an anti-grinding measure. Each dungeon has its own Winds of Kron value that determines how many Turns a Shiren is allowed to stay on the Floor, after which, he'll be blown out of the dungeon and the Adventure will end in Defeat.
The game will warn Shi-Rangers several times, usually several hundred turns before the timer reaches zero. Dungeons may range from 1,000, 1,500, or 2,000 turns per-floor, which also means defeat through starvation is more likely.
Adventure Footprint #38 requires defeat by running out of turns in a dungeon.
