Shiren 5 DS:Adventure
Adventures (Japanese: シレン) are a Dungeon gameplay element in Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer 5 - The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate. Adventures generally begin with Shiren entering a dungeon, where the Shi-Ranger playing the game enters into turn-based gameplay, usually combat with Monsters, Shopkeepers, and Adventure Allies.
Concluding an Adventure
Adventures are concluded when the Shi-Ranger uses an Escape Scroll or Undo Grass, the Shi-Ranger gives up, Shiren is defeated during combat, or the dungeon is successfully completed upon reaching the Goal Floor.
Upon completion of the dungeon or escaping, Shiren will retain his Gitan and Inventory Items in most cases; however, his Level will reset to 1, as per standard gameplay.
Consequences of Failing an Adventure
Failure will result in Shiren being stripped of all equipment and Gitan, and returned to Nekomaneki Village at Level 1. He'll be escorted out of the village by 6 Mamels, one of which may be a Pit Mamel, Cave Mamel, or Gitan Mamel, presumably as an Easter Egg.
