Recruitment (Japanese: ???) is a game mechanic in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series. It is a method of obtaining Pokémon on the Team that involves defeating enemy Pokémon. When they are defeated, there is a chance for them to join the player's team. The player may raise the recruitment rate through a variety of means. Automatic recruits also exist.
