Walkthrough:
The Monster House is in the bottom half of floor 2, second room from the left. The left entrance blocked by Log Trap that can be dangerous. You can consider getting to level 4 first by waiting for random monsters to appear, as there are no weapons available before the Monster House, however leveling up to level 2 or 3 before reaching the second floor can cause the Monster House to be full of dangerous enemies such as Gaze.

Monster house is on bottom half of 2F, 2nd room from the left. Left entrance blocked by log trap. Can be dangerous: I was killed by a Twisty Han the 1st attempt. 2nd attempt, it was just Mamels and easy monsters. Consider getting to level 4 first by waiting for random monsters to appear, as there are no weapons available before the monster house. (edit by robdood - I'd advise against levelling to keep the Monster house easy; if you're too high a level (2 or 3) when starting 2F the MH can be full of gazes and other nasty enemies, so try complete 1F while remaining at lvl1) OTOH, it's only 2 floors. Even dying once, and taking copious notes for no good reason, I still cleared both passwords in ~10 minutes.
