In Trouble (Japanese: ピンチ) is a Status Abnormality in Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer.
Effect on Shiren
The 'In Trouble' status does not inflict any change to Shiren or to gameplay. It only acts as an indicator for when Shiren's HP falls below 30% of the current maximum HP.
When active, the font of the floor number, HP, level, and collected Gitan display located at the top of the bottom screen is changed from regular white to red. The border of menus now flashes blue and white.
How to get affected
Lose enough hit points so that the current value falls beneath 30% of the current maximum.
E.g. with a maximum HP of 90, Shiren will gain the 'In Trouble' status below 27 HP (90 HP x 0.3 = 27 HP).
How to cure
Restore Shiren's hit points to greater than or equal to 30% of their current maximum health. Some methods of achieving this are listed below:
- Eat a Medicinal Herb to recover 25 HP.
- Eat a Restorative Herb to recover 100 HP.
- Successfully press a Chiropractic Jar to recover all HP.
