Scared (Japanese: おびえ状鳃) is a Status Abnormality in Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer.
Effect on Monsters
Scared Monsters will attempt to run away from Shiren and his companions. They will not attack or use any abilities if adjacent to Shiren, even if they are in a Kigny.
Cause of State
When a Monster steps over a Dream Gas Trap or has one thrown at them while Shiren is a Trap Master, either by wearing a Trap Armband, or by becoming a Mecharoid Family Monster.
How to Cure
After 29 - 30 turns, the scared entity will return to normal. Transforming them into another monster will also remove the status.
