The Kigny monster family (Japanese: キグニ族) Monster Family in 
Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer consists of:
- Kigny (Japanese: キグニ族)
- Kigny2 (Japanese: キグニ族2)
- Kigny3 (Japanese: キグニ族3)
- Kigny4 (Japanese: キグニ族4)
- Kigny5 - 99 (Japanese: キグニ族5 - 99)
Monster Ability
Kignys can go after and attack any adjacent Character or monster, including other Kignys. Shared in common with other monsters, it will level up each time it defeats a monster or Character. It will attack Shiren if a Kigny is adjacent to him.
Effect when Sealed
When Sealed, Kignys will only go after Shiren.

Consuming Kigny meat is strongly discouraged as it has the same functional effect as the Kigny state.

- Kigny meat: Eat this to change into a Kigny. Once changed, you can't control your actions, but you will change back after a while.
- Kigny2 meat: Eat this to change into a Kigny. Once changed, you can't control your actions, but you will change back after a while.
- Kigny3 meat: Eat this to change into a Kigny. Once changed, you can't control your actions, but you will change back after a while.
- Kigny4 meat: Eat this to change into a Kigny. Once changed, you can't control your actions, but you will change back after a while.
- Kigny5 - 99 meat: Eat this to change into a Kigny. Once changed, you can't control your actions, but you will change back after a while.
