No Natural Recovery (Japanese: 自然回復無効) is a Status Abnormality in  Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer.

Effect on Shiren

Instead of Shiren's health naturally healing by a number of points (usually 1 - 2) based on the current maximum HP, for 50 turns, Shiren will not recover any health this way.

When active, the font of the floor number, HP, level, and collected Gitan display located at the top of the bottom screen are changed from the regular white to red. The border of menus will now flash bright pink.

How to get affected

A Fog Hermit Family will chant a 'strange spell' and will hit Shiren with a magic ability. Getting hit once by this ability will inflict the 'No Natural Recovery' status.

How to cure

• Wait 50 turns until the effect wears off.
• Eat a Restorative Herb.
• Move to a different floor via the Stairs or a Pitfall Trap.
• Read a Scroll of Need.
