Curses (Japanese: 呪い) are an Item condition in Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer series. Curses are the counterpart to the Blessing mechanic and are usually denoted with a skull icon next to their names.

During gameplay, most Cursed items can't be used. If an equipped Weapon, Shield, Armband, or Projectile is cursed, or of a cursed item is equipped, it can't be unequipped.

Curses need to be removed from items through various methods such as tossing them to a Bless Pitcher Plant(UT) - This is an unofficial translation., consuming Herb Hater Meat, reading a Scroll of Blessing, inserting them into a Blessed Jar, Purifying Jar or offering them up to a Dragon Orb Wii / PlayStation Portable.
