Gold Shield (Japanese: 金の盾), later known as Golden Shield, is a Shield in the Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer series. Gold Shields debuted in Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer 2 - Shiren's Castle and the Oni Invasion in 2000. Shiren 5 features a Gold Shield family, though none of the Japanese names are a 100% exact match.

The Gold Shield, is a weak Shield primarily used for Fusion. When Melded to other shields, it will provide the Rustproof Rune.
