Bufu's Cleaver (Japanese: ブフーの包丁) is a Weapon in Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer series. It made its debut in 
Mystery Dungeon 2: Shiren the Wanderer in 1995.
Bufu's Cleavers will occasionally cause non-boss monsters to drop meat upon defeat. When consumed, the consumer will transform into those monsters and gain their ability. As a balance measure, the cleaver will occasionally break after use in some games. The Bufu's Cleaver is one of several items named after the The Eight Beast Gods.
