The Popster Tank (Japanese: オヤジ戦車) Monster Family in  Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer consists of:

1. Popster Tank (Japanese: オヤジ戦車)
2. Dadster Tank (Japanese: ガンコ戦車)
3. Oldster Tank (Japanese: イッテツ戦車)
4. Cranky Tank (Japanese: ヘンクツ戦車)

Monster Ability

The Popster Tank monster family fires explosives that damage all entities around it except itself. It also destroys Items and walls around the explosion.

• Level 1: Popster Tanks move at half Speed. They fire explosives that inflict 20 damage.
• Level 2: Dadster Tanks fire explosives which inflict 30 damage.
• Level 3: Oldster Tanks move at double speed. They fire explosives that inflict 40 damage.
• Level 4: Cranky Tanks move at double speed or fire two explosives in one turn, each inflicting 50 damage.

When a Popster Tank family monster trips on a Rusty Trap, instead of the usual effect of zeroing out its defense, its speed is reduced by one level, and its defense is halved.

Effect when Sealed

When Sealed, Popster Tanks can no longer fire explosives and will resort to melee attacks.

Meat Strategy

Caution

As a Popster Tank, explosions can destroy items on the ground. If shop merchandise is destroyed by cannon fire while you are in the room with a shop, the Shopkeeper will expect you to pay for them.

Monster Meat Description

1. Popster Tank meat: Eat this to change into a Popster Tank. You can fire your cannon to attack, but you can only move slowly.
2. Dadster Tank meat: Eat this to change into a Dadster Tank. You can fire your cannon to attack.
3. Oldster Tank meat: Eat this to change into an Oldster Tank. you'll move at double speed and can fire your cannon to attack.
4. Cranky Tank meat: Eat this to change into a Cranky Tank. you'll move at double speed and can fire your cannon to attack.
