The Skull Mage (Japanese: いやしウサギ, Gaikotsumadō) Monster Family is a recurring group of four monsters present in the Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer series. It made its debut in Mystery Dungeon 2: Shiren the Wanderer in 1995, making it one of the Original Monster Families.
The Skull Mage Family consists of:
- Skull Mage (Japanese: ガイコツまどう, Gaikotsumadō)
- Skull Wizard (Japanese: ガイコツまじん, Gaikotsumajin)
- Skull Wraith (Japanese: ガイコツまおう, Gaikotsumaō)
- Skull Demon (Japanese: ガイコツまてん, Gaikotsumaten)
The Skull Mage Family has made a cameo appearance in the Danganronpa series in 2021, under the name Bonykuma.

Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp
In Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp (Japanese: ハッピーダンガンロンパＳ 超高校級の南国サイコロ合宿), a Bonykuma was shown during the game's reveal trailer on June 15, 2021 at E3 2021.[1][2] Like in Despair Dungeon: Monokuma's Test, they are a fusion between a Skull Mage and Monokuma.
