The emby Archive is a digital library using the application "emby" for Unraid to host various media and files for the Mystery Dungeon Franchise Wiki. The app is invite-only to established editors, contributors, and preservation-minded members of the community. Its purpose is to act as our own version of the "Internet Archive" due to their tendency to remove files, get hacked and leak personal data, or be constantly embroiled in lawsuits, making their future uncertain. Much as the wiki was founded with the mindset that it's better to have all Mystery Dungeon documentation in a single place, the Wiki Council found it preferable to host these files ourselves, as opposed to relying on external sources, and trying to keep track of dozens of external sources that may disappear, or remove files on their own.
