The Mystery Dungeon Franchise Wiki's Twitter Account was created on February 20, 2020, by Jubilee under the name @WikiDungeon. The account saw little use until June 2021, when Admins B and Jubilee began posting more seriously in an effort to spread awareness of the MDFW's independence. The account was rebranded on June 28, 2021, to @MDFW_EN.

The Wiki's Twitter account was originally chosen as the ideal platform to promote Mystery Dungeon content, knowledge, and the wiki itself, as the site runs ad-free and therefore doesn't have an advertising budget. The account is run by Admin B.

Posting Rules

Over time, several posting rules were implemented to help better the growth of the account.

• Due to the Wiki's Twitter existing as our main advertising platform, we stopped retweeting other accounts' posts. The only exceptions are Spike Chunosft and Shiren the Wanderer's official accounts.
• We do not support, or endorse any other account and have a strict "No taking a stance on anything, ever." policy.
• Due to our tendency to bulk post tweet ideas in 2021, we began spreading them out for the most part. On June 26, 2022, Admin B began scheduling tweets every day.

2020

February 20

• The Mystery Dungeon Wiki Twitter account is created.

December 31

• The Twitter account reaches 1,000 followers just in time for the new year. (link)

2021

June

• Admins Blue and Jubilee begin to post more actively to Twitter, in an effort to spread awareness of Independency of the MDFW.

2022

June 26

• The Twitter account now posts daily scheduled Tweets.

2023

May 18

• The Twitter account reaches 2,000 followers.
