The Bowboy (Japanese: ボウヤー系)

- Crossbowboy (Japanese: クロスボウヤー)
Bowboys and Crossbowboys are small elf-like creatures with light brown flesh and tall pointed ears. With small grey feet and hands. Atop their head is a pointed olive elf hat, which changes to sky blue in Crossbowboys. when attacking, a simple wooden bow materializes in front of the monster which fires an arrow at Shiren while they are knocked onto their back from the recoil.
When not disturbed by any Status Abnormalities, Bowboy Family Monsters only use arrows to attack Shiren, which can be from a distance in a straight line, or from directly adjacent to Shiren. They do not approach Shiren but will situate themselves where Shiren is in a straight line of sight and can be shot at. When their target moves out of position, they will try to correct this by moving closer diagonally, so that Shiren is in their line of sight once more.
Monster Ability
Bowboy Family Monsters attack by firing Projectiles:
- Level 1: It fires Wooden Arrow.
- Level 2: It fires Iron Arrows.
Effect when Sealed
- Levels: 1 - 2: Bowboy Family Monsters will no longer fire Arrows and will now melee attack Shiren.
Special Drops
- Bowboys may drop Wooden Arrow.
- Crossbowboys may drop Iron Arrows.
Combat Strategy
- Levels 1 - 2: Move diagonally, avoiding the monsters line of sight will prevent them from attacking until Shiren is next to them.
Meat Strategy
- Levels 1 - 2: Repeatedly shoot Wooden and Iron Arrows so these can be collected and used as Shiren after changing back.
- Levels 1 - 2: Shoot Arrows into hallways to ensure they are safe, or continue firing to defeat Monsters that the arrows hit.
