Postponed (Japanese: ???) is a Status Abnormality in 
Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer.
Effect on Shiren
Will be warped onto the stairs of the floor, and will be Paralyzed for 5 - 10 turns.
If Shiren is currently 'Hungry' when warped away, they will not be paralyzed for any turns. By the next turn after being postponed and warped to the stairs, only 1 HP will be depleted. This can only kill Shiren if they are postponed while hungry and are currently at 1 HP.
How to get affected
- Successfully swing a Staff of Postpone at a Air Devil Family Monster.
- Get hit by the magic attack of a Skull Mage Family that has the postpone effect.
How to cure
Because Shiren cannot act while 'Postponed' there are limited options for "curing" this status.
- Wait for enough turns for the effect to disappear.
- Be interacted with by a Monster. This includes all attacks and abilities.
Trivia
- The status, 'Postponed' does not visibly appear as Shiren's status.
- In some cases, entities cannot be postponed because the floor does not contain an exit/stairs. Boss monsters especially as there is no exit to the boss floor prior to defeat.
