This article is a draft relating to Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity. Articles are created and sometimes moved to the Draft namespace for numerous reasons. "Gates:V-Wave" needs to be either updated to fit the current Manual of Style or lacks relevant information and content.
V-Wave(Japanese: ???) is a game mechanic in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity. For each in-game day a specific Pokémon Type has advantages over others. The daily effects and the Types for eleven days can be seen in the V-Wavecast menu, accessed by talking to Victini in Paradise Center. After the eleven-day cycle is completed, a new set of eleven days is loaded, letting the player see the V-Wave of the following ten days. Victini also allows spinning the V-Wheel, which lets the player change the Type for the day. V-Wave and the V-Wheel are unlocked after Gurdurr prepares the land for the first time.
Each day has five effects. Three effects are the same every day (Power Up, Experience Points Up and PP Energy Saver), while the remaining two change randomly.
