The Sanctuary Scroll (Japanese: 聖域の巻物) is a Scroll in Template:GameTitle. Unlike most other scrolls, you must place this scroll on the ground to create a permanent "sanctuary" spot on the floor. While standing on a sanctuary, Monsters won't be able to attack Shiren directly; however, ranged attacks will still work. Monsters will also be unable to walk where the scroll is.

Tips For Use

Putting one of these in the ground can save you when surrounded, especially in Monster Houses.
- Explosions (including exploding shells from Popster Tank's) can destroy a Sanctuary Scroll.
It can also be used during a theft, as Shopkeepers, Sheriffs and Guard Dogs won't be able to attack you either.
If a monster steps on a Sanctuary Scroll somehow, it will be defeated instantly (without giving any experience).
Any Sanctuary Scrolls you find on the floor will still prevent monsters from attacking you, and they can be picked up as well.
- If you write this on a Blank Scroll from the ground, it will still have the effect and can be picked up again.
