Pkmn:Rescue Mechanics differ between games in the series. This page aims to document and clarify these differences. Rescues were first introduced in the Mystery Dungeon Franchise in Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer GB2: Magic Castle of the Desert. In the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon titles they made their first appearance in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red and Blue Rescue Team.
