Absol (Japanese: アブソル) is a Character in / Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red and Blue Rescue Team. It joins the Team Pokémon after the player defeats Articuno. After its plot relevance, Absol becomes indistinguishable from any other Absol, aside from its recruit location.

Biography

It first appears when the Hero spots a Pokémon on their way to the Frosty Forest. It jumped off quickly, so the Partner wonders if the Absol was imagined.

After the player defeats Articuno, it doesn't believe that there are other disasters besides the Frosty Forest getting warmer. Absol appears before Articuno just before it was about to fight the player a second time. Absol explains to Articuno that natural disasters really are happening everywhere. Thus convincing Articuno that they're telling the truth and letting them go. Absol joins the team at this point.
