Caterpie (Japanese: キャタピー, Caterpie) is a character in 
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red and Blue Rescue Team. He's the son of Butterfree.
Biography
While playing, Caterpie fell into a strange huge fissure in the ground caused by the recent Natural Disasters. At the frantic request of his panicking mother, Butterfree, the Hero and Partner entered the Tiny Woods and rescued him, inspiring him in the process. He's often found around Pokémon Square with his friend Metapod and his mother,Butterfree.
