V-Wave (Japanese: ???) is a game mechanic in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity. For each in-game day a specific Pokémon Type has advantages over others. The daily effects and the Types for eleven days (most often the Type for the next day and the Types of the previous nine days, but the next ten days are shown when it's first unlocked) can be seen in the V-Wavecast menu, accessed by talking to Victini in Paradise Center. Victini also allows to spin the V-Wheel, which lets the player change the Type for the day. V-Wave and the V-Wheel are unlocked after Gurdurr prepares the land for the first time.
