Locations in Torneko's Great Adventure: Mystery Dungeon fall under two categories. Town and Story locations and Dungeons.

Town and Story Locations

The Town is the only location where the player mainly interacts with characters and shops or enters dungeons. In this game, it uses the grid movement from dungeons and friendly characters can be affected be interacted with by the player.

Dungeons

There are 3 dungeons in Torneko 1, the first of which is available only for a single Adventure. Dungeons are randomly generated labyrinthian mazes where Monsters, Items, and Traps are randomly spawned on the dungeon's Floors. The goal is to gather loot to sell when exiting the dungeon safely while remaining alive long enough to do so.
