The Castle (Japanese: ???) is a location in Super Famicom Torneko's Great Adventure: Mystery Dungeon(UT) - This is an unofficial translation..

Story

After Torneko's family decides to live in Village(UT) - This is an unofficial translation., Taloon visits the Castle to see the King, to gain permission to explore the Magic Dungeon. The King asks Taloon to test his mettle by first visiting the Trial Dungeon(UT) - This is an unofficial translation. and retrieve the King's lost Jewel Chest(UT) - This is an unofficial translation.. The player can refuse, which results in optional dialogue with the other characters in the Castle talking about how it was a disappointment and how Taloon doesn't look like the kind of person who gives up easily. The challenge can also be refused a second time, which results in the optional dialogue for the characters to be updated to saying that the King would likely allow it if Taloon were to ask him again.

The King then gives Taloon three items to explore the Trial Dungeon with: a Medical Herb, a Big Bread and an Identify Scroll.

Failing the Trial Dungeon multiple times leads to different tutorials by the King. After failing more than 20 times, the King starts giving a Metabble Sword(UT) - This is an unofficial translation. and a Metabble Shield(UT) - This is an unofficial translation. to Taloon.

After Taloon retrieves the Jewel Chest, the King allows him to explore the big Mysterious Dungeon as much as he wants, and gifts him a book containing additional tutorials, which the player can read at home. When returning to his family, Taloon finds that Nene and Popolo built their new house, which they also use as a shop to sell the items Taloon finds.
