V-Wave (Japanese: ???) is a game mechanic in Nintendo 3DS Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity. For each in-game day a specific Pokémon Type has advantages over others. The daily effects and the Types for eleven days can be seen in the V-Wavecast menu, accessed by talking to Victini in Paradise Center. After the eleven-day cycle is completed, a new set of eleven days is loaded, letting the player see the V-Wave of the following ten days. Victini also allows spinning the V-Wheel, which lets the player change the Type for the day. V-Wave and the V-Wheel are unlocked after Gurdurr prepares the land for the first time.
