Mysteriosity (Japanese: ふしぎ) is a game mechanic in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity. It is available in most dungeons after it is unlocked post-credits. Some dungeons are only accessible through Mysteriosity.

Mechanics

Dungeons where Mysteriosity is available have a random level on each in-game day when accessed from the Crossroads, however jobs have a Mysteriosity level tied to them. Mysteriosity levels can go from 1 to 5.

Effects

When going to a floor of a dungeon affected by Mysteriosity there is a chance to trigger a variety of effects.

Effect Details
English Japanese
"A strange power made you wander into a mysterious place!" Temporarily sends the party to a different dungeon.
"Enemies have slowed down!"
"Enemies are weaker than usual!"
"Enemies' speed has gone up!"

"You can't use food such as seeds and Berries!"

Mysteriosity Dungeons

One of the effects takes the player to another dungeon, or an alternate, illusory version of the current dungeon, for a certain amount of floors. The dungeon that is temporarily accessed seems to depend on dungeon and floor the Mysteriosity effects takes place on.

Uncharted Road

There are three types of Uncharted Road dungeons. Pokémon from the Species Selection can be found here, making them the best places to recruit them without DLC.
