Dungeons in this game consist of randomly generated {{Torneko1|floors}} with loot and equipment scattered about. Players of other {{Meta|Mystery Dungeon}} games will be greeted with only three dungeons, with one of them being available only for a moment. First-time players are likely to fail a lot more in dungeons throughout the main story, and after completing it.
There are 3 dungeons in Torneko 1, the first of which is available only for a single {{Torneko1|adventure}}{{NT}}. Dungeons are randomly generated labyrinthian mazes where {{Torneko1|Monsters}}{{NT}}, {{Torneko1|Items}}{{NT}}, and {{Torneko1|Traps}}{{NT}} are randomly spawned on the dungeon's {{Torneko1|floors}}{{NT}}. The goal is to gather loot to sell when exiting the dungeon safely while remaining alive long enough to do so.
 
Each dungeon floor will contain a set of {{Torneko1|Stairs}}{{NT}} that will lead to the next floor, where a new set of items, monsters, and traps will spawn. Monsters will continue to spawn after a set number of turns for as long as the player is able to remain on the floor. {{Torneko1|Earthquakes}}{{UT}} will prevent the player from staying on any given dungeon floor for too long, along with {{Torneko1|Taloon}}'s{{UT}} {{Torneko1|Fullness}}{{NT}}.
