Shiren 6:Buried Item

Buried Items (Japanese: 埋蔵品) are items hidden inside Dungeon walls in / Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island.

Buried Items can be discovered by equipping an Item-find Bracelet, or a Shield of Passage, or reading a Mapping Scroll. They can also be discovered by dashing along a wall and seeing if the character stops; in that case, it means an item is inside a nearby wall tile.

Acquisition

Some walls can be broken by simply attacking them, others need to be destroyed by using a Pickaxe, or by attacking it while in Sumo Status, or using items such as a Burrowing Staff or a Wall-less Scroll.

Gold Sparkles

In some cases, the wall has gold sparkles, indicating that something (an item, a trap, a monster, or a Wishing Shrine) is hidden inside.

Pillar Rooms

Buried items can also be found in rooms that contain pillar walls, single wall tiles in a checkerboard pattern that can be easily be destroyed by attacking them. Not all of such walls contain items. Monsters and Traps may also be found.
