Sumo Status (Japanese: どすこい状態) is a Status Condition in / Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island.

Details

It is entered by Shiren when his Fullness is at least 150, and it's lost when it goes below 120. When active, it increases Shiren's Max HP, gives him Empowered Status, and allows him to destroy wall tiles by simply attacking them. However, Shiren isn't affected by Items that would otherwise change his position on the current floor.

While in Sumo Status, Traps are destroyed when they are stepped on, Fullness decreases more quickly. When Sumo Status is lost, Max Fullness decreases by 5.

Eating a Sumo Onigiri immediately increases Shiren's Fullness to 150 and gives him Sumo Status.
