The Shadow Hat
(Japanese: 影ぼうし) Monster Family is a group of three monsters in the Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer series. It made its debut in 
Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer Gaiden - Asuka the Swordswoman in 2002, making it part of the Fifth Batch of Monster Families
. Its most recent appearance was in 
Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer Gaiden - Asuka the Swordswoman for Windows in 2002.
The Shadow Hat Family consists of:
- Shadow Hat (Japanese: 影ぼうし)
- Black Hat (Japanese: 黒ぼうし)
- Dark Hat (Japanese: 闇ぼうし)
