The Novice Ninja (Japanese: かけだし忍者) Monster Family is a group of three monsters in the Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer series. It made its debut in  Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer Gaiden - Asuka the Swordswoman in 2002, making it part of the Fifth Batch of Monster Families. Its most recent appearance was in  Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer Gaiden - Asuka the Swordswoman for Windows in 2002.

The Novice Ninja Family consists of:

1. Novice Ninja (Japanese: かけだし忍者)
2. Adept Ninja (Japanese: いっぱし忍者)
3. Master Ninja (Japanese: はがくれ忍者)
