The Sweet Nut (Japanese: あまぐりん) Monster Family is a recurring group of four monsters in the Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer series. It made its debut in (Flash) Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer 5: "Sweet Nut" Trial Version
in 2010, making it part of the Tenth Batch of Monster Families
. They were created because of the 
Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer 5 - The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate game director Yoriki Daigo's (Japanese: 醍醐 頼希) love of math.[1]
The Sweet Nut Family consists of:
- Sweet Nut (Japanese: あまぐりん)
- Acrid Nut (Japanese: しぶぐりん)
- Spicy Nut (Japanese: からぐりん)
- Bitter Nut (Japanese: にがぐりん)
