The Sweet Nut (Japanese: あまぐりん) Monster Family is a recurring group of four monsters in the Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer series. It made its debut in (Flash) Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer 5: "Sweet Nut" Trial Version(UT) - This is an unofficial translation. in 2010, making it part of the Tenth Batch of Monster Families(NT) - This name was created by editors to describe something lacking a name.. They were created because of the Nintendo DS Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer 5 - The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate game director Yoriki Daigo's (Japanese: 醍醐 頼希) love of math.[1]

The Sweet Nut Family consists of:

  1. Sweet Nut (Japanese: あまぐりん)
  2. Acrid Nut (Japanese: しぶぐりん)
  3. Spicy Nut (Japanese: からぐりん)
  4. Bitter Nut (Japanese: にがぐりん)
