February 15, 2023 - Pokémon
The Pokémon Company International launched the teaser version of a new Pokémon celebration website. Spike Chunsoft 1993 - 2023 copyright information is found in the site's assets/langs/content.json file. The copyright date starts from 1993, which means it is for the Mystery Dungeon franchise. The meaning of this is currently unknown. The site fully launches on Febraury 27, 2023.[6][7]
February 26, 2023 - Pokémon
Spike Chunsoft copyright information was removed from the Pokémon Together assets file.
Late February 2023 - Pokémon, Nintendo 3DS eShop
On February 23, 2023, it was noticed that trying to open the in-game DLC shop of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity gives the error "The SD Card was removed".[8][9] This is the error the game returns when DLC isn't available. On the eShop, the game still has a DLC button on the game's page, however it gives an error saying DLC isn't available. According to the official announcement, new purchases would no longer be possible after March 27, and it should still be possible to redownload software after, so it's possible that this early removal of DLC is a temporary oversight. Other non Mystery Dungeon games are also affected by this.

March[edit | edit source]

March 22, 2023 - Pokémon, Nintendo 3DS eShop
Gates to Infinity DLC is available again on the European eShop after the issue was brought to Nintendo's attention through an email segnalation from reddit user PrimalPokemonPlayer.[10][11] The DLC is also confirmed to be accessible from the US in-game shop.[12]
March 23, 2023 00:00 UTC - Nintendo
Purchasing titles from the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U eShops is no longer possible. Software that was already purchased can be redownloaded. Software that was available for free can't be downloaded if it hadn't been downloaded beforehand. Videos have been removed from the eShop (3DS, Europe, others currently unchecked). DLC lists are no longer visible on game pages (the button can be selected, but the list can no longer be seen), however it is supposedly possible to redownload DLC. Opening the Gates to Infinity in-game DLC menu without having bought any DLC gives a "No downloadable content is currently available for sale." message. Etrian Mystery Dungeon in-game DLC menu can still be opened even without any DLC, but prices don't appear and the BUY button is greyed out and doesn't work (3DS, Europe, others currently unchecked).
Nintendo 3DS HOME Menu Themes have been removed from purchase the Nintendo 3DS Theme Shop with the exception of two free sets by Nintendo ("Basic Color Set" and "Simple Color Set", European version), themes that were purchased or downloaded for free beforehand can be redownloaded.
