Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series: Nintendo sent consenting My Nintendo users emails with links to surveys asking their thoughts on the Pokémon series and Pokémon Scarlet and Violet in particular. One of the questions asks what kind of Pokémon games they would like to play in the future, and among the options is "A new entry in an existing spin-off series (e.g. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, New Pokémon Snap)", showing that new Pokémon Mystery Dungeon releases are at least being considered.[18] The survey itself is hosted on an external website which can be accessed by everyone, even without receveing an email.[19]

Spike Chunsoft has announced that the cumulative sales of all versions of Shiren 5 worldwide have exceeded 500,000 copies! Spike Chunsoft are celebrating with a 50% off sale for the Switch, Steam, and Smartphone versions from December 15, 2022, to Tuesday, January 3, 2023.[26][27][28][29]
