Ragged Mountain (Japanese: でこぼこ山, Bumpy Mountain) is the tutorial dungeon at the start of Nintendo 3DS Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity. Because the bridge is broken, it is necessary to go through the mountain to reach the other side. When first entered, it starts from the Western Cave, because the first floor, Western Entrance, only plays a cutscene. If the Adventure fails, the player can actually walk in the first floor. It ends on the Eastern Entrance. It can only be accessed during the story and it consists entirely of fixed floors. A non-story version of Ragged Mountain that goes from east to west is unlocked soon after.

Dungeon information

Special floors

The dungeon is made entirely of floors that will always be the same on every playthrough, including both Gridless Floors and Fixed floors.

Western Entrance (floor 1)

The first time this floor is entered it plays a cutscene that leads to the next floor. It can only be explored by the player if the Adventure is failed. The protagonist will comment on the broken bridge if it is interacted with.

Western Cave (floor 2)

Central Plateau (floor 3)

Interacting with a hollow log is needed to proceed. The log will fall over, and the party will be able to use it as a bridge to proceed to the next floor. No Pokémon are found on this floor.

Eastern Cave (floor 4)

Eastern Entrance (floor 5)

On the final floor of the dungeon, no Pokémon are found and all the player needs to do is walk right to complete it.
