Etrian 2:Crystal Floor

Crystal Floors (Japanese: ドクロフロア) are special floors in  Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2 that can appear in dungeons. These floors contain Crystals, which are shown as blue hexagons in the bottom screen map, with a number above them. There are two types of Crystals, small ones which take up one tile and larger ones which take up 3x3 tiles on the map. The counter above Crystals decreases by 1 each time it is hit by a monster or by a character in the party. When the number reaches 0, the Crystal is destroyed. If the Crystal is destroyed by a monster, that monster becomes stronger. This can also happen with DOEs. If the Crystal is destroyed by the player, it will restore TP to the player and Wandering Boxes and Gold Boxes will be dropped. Destroying a small Crystal restores 100TP to the character who destroyed it and drops 2 Wandering Boxes, destroying a large Crystal restores 50 TP to each character and drops 4 Wandering Boxes or Gold Boxes. It is recommended to use multi-hit Skills to hit Crystals and to be careful not to make it easier for monsters to destroy them. Once the player enters a Crystal Floor and changes floors, the Crystal Floor will disappear.

When a entering a Crystal Floor the message "結晶体スポットだ！モンスターより先に結晶体を壊そう！" is displayed, when leaving a Crystal Floor the message "B[floor]F-[zone]の結晶体スポットを破壊して凶暴化した！" is displayed.
