Train (Japanese: ???) is a feature at the Monster Dojo in Template:GameTitle. It is a dungeon-like area where players can simulate dungeons to experiment with various gameplay elements.

Training Menu

  • Summon Monsters
  • Try Out Items
  • Place Traps
  • Change Level
  • Deactivate Monsters
  • End Training

Features

The dojo serves as a sandbox for players in order to simulate specific situations or try the new mechanics given by the game. As such, players can create items, traps, and up to 36 monsters only from those unlocked in their Notebook. Additionally, players can change their level at any time, and disallow monster movement.

Rooms

Rooms have their own fixed layout. However, they can be affected by the player, such as by using a Wall-less Scroll to turn the room into a giant floor with no walls (except for those on the far sides).

Single Room

A simple room with a body of water on the left and a pit on the right.

Water Room

Corridors and small rooms with water tiles.

Wall-less Room

Has the same layout as the Water Room, but with pits instead of water. Despite the name, it does have some walls.

Gimmick Room

Unlocked by playing post-credits dungeons. Features Cannons of various types.
