The Gaze monster family (Japanese: ゲイズ系) consists of:

  1. Gaze (Japanese: ゲイズ)
  2. Super Gaze (Japanese: スーパーゲイズ)
  3. Hyper Gaze (Japanese: ハイパーゲイズ)
  4. Ultra Gaze (Japanese: ウルトラゲイズ)

Monster Ability

Gaze family monsters can hypnotize Shiren, which makes him do one of the things at random for the turn:

  • Use an item.
  • Place an item in a jar.
  • Equip or unequip a weapon, a shield, an armband, or projectiles. However, attempts to remove cursed equipment will fail.
  • Face or attack in a random direction.
  • Throw items or fire arrows.

Ultra Gaze drops 5,000 Gitan when defeated.

Effect when Sealed

When Sealed, Gazes can no longer hypnotize Shiren and will always use its regular attack.

Monster Meat Description

  1. Gaze meat: Eat this to change into a Gaze. Able to confuse enemies.
  2. Super Gaze meat: Eat this to change into a Super Gaze. Able to confuse enemies.
  3. Hyper Gaze meat: Eat this to change into a Hyper Gaze. Able to confuse enemies.
  4. Ultra Gaze meat: Eat this to change into an Ultra Gaze. Able to confuse enemies.
