Etrian 1:Phantom Depths

Phantom Depths (Japanese: 幻影ノ奈落), is the eleventh dungeon in Etrian Mystery Dungeon. It is unlocked after finishing Mysterious Forest and accepting the mission Explore the Phantom Depths.

Dungeon information

This dungeon has 61 floors, the last floor being that of the boss and the geomagnetic pole allowing the player to return to Aslarga. The power of the monsters increases from floor 10, floor 30, and floor 40. There are teleport points in the dungeon, similar to the Geomagnetic Pole, which teleports the team to another zone of the dungeon that is inaccessible by stairs.

Scrolls, Sigils, and Bottles are unidentified until used or identified with an Assess Scroll. In addition, all items (including equipment) can be Cursed when found in the Red Lion Shoppe, on the ground, or in a Wandering Box. It is impossible to know that an item is cursed unless it is used or identified with an Assess Scroll, even if another item with the same effect was identified. However the price of a cursed item is 80% of the uncursed item, so it is possible to guess if an item is cursed in the shop.

The appearance and music of the dungeon change to be that of the previous branches (From Mysterious Labyrinth to Muspelheim) between floors 1 and 18. From floor 16 to floor 18, from floor 45 to floor 47, and from floor 55 to floor 59 there is lava on the ground that inflicts damage to anyone walking on it and destroys the items that fall on it.
