Deposit Boxes (Japanese: あずかりボックス) allow the player to store and retrieve items and money in Nintendo 3DS Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity without risk of losing them after fainting in a dungeon. They also let the player see the list of Materials and donate any exceeding money. A Deposit Box can be found in Post Town to the right of the Kecleon Shop. Another one can be found in Paradise Center. They can also be found outside of some dungeons or in rest stops. Every Deposit Box always contains the same content, regardless of where it's found.

Items

Depositing

Pressing R while hovering an item allows selecting multiple items to deposit. Pressing L and R simultaneously selects all the items.

Withdrawing

Deposited items stack and are sorted automatically. Pressing L while hovering an item lets the player choose an amount to withdraw. Pressing R while hovering an item allows selecting multiple items before withdrawing them.

Money

The player can hold up to 9,999 Poké, and the Deposit Box can hold up to 9,999,999. If the Deposit Box limit is reached, money can't be deposited anymore, and a third option appears in the menu, allowing the player to donate that money to HAPPI. This doesn't seem to affect the game in any way other than freeing the player's held money.

View Materials

Materials are automatically sent to the Deposit Box, where have their own sub-menu. The player can check how many are currently owned and read their descriptions.
