Congratulations on a mission well accomplished, Guild (Guild name)! I had a dreadful quarrel with {{Etrian1|President Chano|Father}} when the mission was issued. He insisted that I evacuate to stay with my mother... But I wanted to be here in Aslarga. I wished to help those who would remain and fight to protect this town. First Dungeon

But you may be puzzled as to my meaning! Fear not, I'll elucidate on these ores, timbers, and herbs. You mine ore from Mining Spots, collect timber at Logging Spots, and pluck herbs from Harvesting Spots. On occasion, you might spy the gleam of ore lumber peeking out from the earth. Simply step over it to collect it! Each spot will only offer up its bounty once, but if your foraging skill is high, it may yield more materials. Say that a landsknecht were to level her Mineralogy skill--she'd then have a chance at finding more ore per spot. Naturally, more materials collected means more money earned by selling! Then you'll have the coin to buy more! One might say every point in foraging skills betters you chances. I'd certainly go with no fewer than three.

Second Dungeon

After accepting the mission "Fiend in the second dungeon"

As my father told you, we've been vexed by the monster in the second dungeon. The Emerald Copse is the primary quarry for those of us in the Market District. Its loss has hit Chano Industries hard. Our firm has scores of talented smiths and other craftsmen, but they remain idle without materials to work with. Chano Industries owes its reputation--nay, its life, to the craftsmen. Without them, we'd be nothing. ...That sounded pompous, didn't it? It's very well for my father to say, but I've only just been hired on...

After defeating the boss of Emerald Copse

Always sell whatever materials you've found first thing when you return from the labyrinth! And then buy the results!

After reporting the mission "Fiend in the second dungeon"

When people discovered Ariadne Threads don't work at the lowest levels, Nether Dust became all the rage. Do you have some? It allows your whole party to either return or be revived should you succumb at the labyrinth's end. It's an expensive purchase, but it comes in very useful on the lowest levels where the Ariadne Thread does not avail.

After reporting the quest "Fort construction test"

This is your first time forging, is it not? Forging can add new effects to any weapon or shield with an open effect slot available. It costs nothing, but you will need materials, so sell us those ahead of time!

Third Dungeon

After accepting the mission "Rescue Dr. Stein"

Dr. Stein has done so much to help us develop merchandise. The craftsmen and I can't help but worry about her. Many adventurers share our concern. Event those who usually shy away from missions have accepted this one. Often do I hear people talk about how Dr. Stein helped them, or how their heart sings to see Sasha smile. It's patently obvious how dear Dr. Stein and Sasha are to the people of Aslarga.

After defeating the boss of Pristine Stream

Astoria's necklace? Why, yes, Mr. Magan stopped by and we purchased it from him. Were you worried about it? That's very kind of you. Don't be, though. After the transaction was complete, we returned it to him. It was a gesture of thanks for his help with the quarry.

After reporting the mission "Rescue Dr. Stein" and talking to Sarah

Members of Guild (Guild name), I thank you for your continued patronage here at Chano Retail. We're getting more customers now that we are known as the place where your redoubtable guild shops. The smiths and craftsmen are all working tirelessly. We're short-staffed, but that will change as development gets underway. Then plans for this district center upon grants for smithing research, craftsman training, and factory expansion. With more excellent smiths, we can provide more types of forging. The benefits to you should be patently obvious.

After reporting the quest "Pick a small flower" and seeing the cutscene at Magan's House

Should the Market District come under DOE attack the craftsmen and myself must, perforce, evacuate the area. We'll return as soon as it's vanquished, but all of us here at Chano Retail will be occupied with repairs soon afterward. This may put a hitch in your future plans, but please understand our dilemma.

Fourth Dungeon

After defeating the boss of Haunted Woods

Congratulations on a mission well accomplished, Guild (Guild name)! I had a dreadful quarrel with Father when the mission was issued. He insisted that I evacuate to stay with my mother... But I wanted to be here in Aslarga. I wished to help those who would remain and fight to protect this town. So I convinced my father to allow me to stay, on the condition that this mission was carried out safely... And so it is that I owe it to you that I am allowed to stay on. Thank you!

Fifth Dungeon

After the mission "Explore the fifth dungeon" is available.

So, the next dungeon is at the Crystalline Peak? The craftsmen were saying there may be monsters weak against fire. I expect the runemaster will be put to full use. It would be best to take a few extra TP recovery items, like Amritas.

After defeating the boss of Crystalline Peak

They say you traversed the Crystalline Peak. Congratulations! Just as I'd expect from the members of Guild (Guild name)! I hope our shop's goods played some part in that. It would make me so pleased to know that our stock proved its worth.

Sixth Dungeon

After the mission "Reach the Yggdrasil's base" is available.

The Torrential Ravine seems to be a dreadful place of intense thunder and raging winds, just as the name suggests. The craftsmen at Chano Industries suggest taking steps to ensure you have the upper hand against thunder elementals. Our shop offers many items and forging solutions to meet these requirements. I hope that you find them useful.

After defeating the boss of Torrential Ravine

I'm pleased that Chano Industries' portable boat proved itself. It was developed by our skyship craftsmen, using the techniques they devised for the balloon part of the skyship. They happened to be idle, since they had just finished constructing a skyship for a major account. The craftsmen tell me the boat is a work of art. They stressed how waterproof and airtight it is.

Seventh Dungeon

After reporting the mission "Reach the Yggdrasil Base" and seeing the cutscene at Magan's House

I never suspected Ms. Kasumi was a kunoichi... It came as a great shock. She talked of being a fugitive... I wonder if her pursuers would come to our remote town. I worry for her so...

After the mission "Master the seventh dungeon" is available.

I heard the story from my father about why we do business in such a thinly populated, remote town as this. My father made his fortune manufacturing skyships, which was a booming business... one in which he made powerful rivals. The obstructions and pressure from his rivals drove him out of the city. In his search for new ground, he settled here. The craftsmen, loyal to my father, followed him here, and with their help, business is good again. We owe it to Aslarga still being under development. My father said in any other nation, things would be less favorable. I doubt that my father and his craftsmen will leave Aslarga. They have found very fulfilling lives here. And the same is true for me.

After accepting the mission "Master the seventh dungeon"

The very first mission that your guild accepted was one that my father requested, was it not? It feels so long ago, yet it's also as if it was only yesterday. You've taken on many missions in the time since, and completed them all. The mission is greater than any you have yet undertaken, but I do no believe it will be your last. It marks a new beginning for you, and for us. Of this, I am convinced.

Post-Credits

Just after finishing the game

Guild (Guild name)... Er... I am so sorry for last night! It couldn't have been easy to be my father's entertainment like that. My father always did have a weakness for confusion tea... It doesn't confuse him, but sends him into laughing fits. Though the craftsmen did say it's been a long while since they've seen him having such fun. I know it must have been a burden on you, but I do hope you'll forgive him... Wh--You don't remember!? Don't tell me that... you drank some too? Niralda's special Amber Cocktail? On its own, confusion tea makes people slightly befuddled, but... The amber infusion was probably what did it.

After reporting the mission "Master the seventh dungeon" and seeing the cutscene at Stein Labs

I grow excited to think of what new materials might be found each time they discover a new dungeon. I'm sure the craftsmen feel likewise. Is this what they refer to as an occupational disease? How does Guild (Guild name= feel on the matter? Do you feel that excitement whenever a new dungeon is found?

> "Yes."

  • Aha! Just as I thought! It's so nice to know that others feel the same. It's quite heartening. I used to think that adventurers moved in a different sphere... but I think I have matured somewhat since then. I think this work suits me. I've felt that way more and more of late.

> "No..."

  • Adventure and danger go hand in glove. I'm no adventurer, but I understand how you feel. It's a nice feeling. Even in trivial matters, gaining new understanding makes one more confident in oneself. Even in this job, I find myself gaining in confidence as I start to understand it better. I think this work suits me. I've felt that way more and more of late.

After finishing all the missions and dungeons and seeing the cutscene showing what happens several years later.

Ms. Lizley is an astonishing woman. She tames Red Lions... Can you imagine! She's simply splendid. I'm an enormous admirer!
