Needing a Cursed Hypha (Japanese: 呪茸の菌糸を調達しておくれ) is a Quest in Etrian Mystery Dungeon.
What must be done
To complete this quest you must have a Cursed Hypha in your inventory and report the quest. Cursed Hypha is a drop from Cursed Shroom. You have to be careful not to sell the Cursed Hypha to Chano Retail with other Materials.

Accepting the Quest
Niralda: My Eryngii Cap dish was a big hit. So I thought I'd try using a Cursed Hypha this time. You're scared it might curse you if you eat it...? I guess that's possible.
Reporting the Quest
Niralda: Are you bums seriously worried you'll get cursed if you eat this? It'll be fine! Did you forget I use amber in my meals? You bake some of that in, and it tends to remove most of the negative effects. Whether that improves the taste is another question. But don't you worry about that. I serve only the best.
