The 5th Appreciation Fest (Japanese: 第５回飲食店地域『発展感謝祭』) is a Quest in Etrian Mystery Dungeon.
What must be done
To complete this quest you must have a Tailbone in your inventory and report the quest. Tailbone is a drop from Firebird. You have to be careful not to sell the Tailbone to Chano Retail with other Materials.

Accepting the Quest
Niralda: Our town's in danger, and all our district chairman can think about is throwing an Appreciation Fest. But I thought about it, and I can kind of see the real reason we have these Appreciation Fest quests. Why's that, you ask? Well, it's a long story. I'll tell you when you come back to report the quest.
Reporting the Quest
Niralda: Good job! Hm? Oh, right, right, the reason why we have these Appreciation Fests. Forgot about that. I think maybe he wants to cheer the people of this town up. Not just the citizens, but the adventurers too. Most adventurers who get rewards stay in town and spend it here. That helps the districts profit and thrive. But that's only half the picture. We need the adventurers to be happy, too, because they make up half the folks in town. And a lot of them would lose heart when they lost all their stuff in dungeons. I started giving out extra portions to try and cheer those folks up, but it wasn't enough. Even with full bellies, they know they're never getting those items back. But a reward could help ease the sting of what they lost, at least a little bit. It'd encourage them to get back out there. But even then, only the ones who finish missions get rewards. The ones from quests are small potatoes in comparison. So maybe that's why we need Appreciation Fest quests, so more people can get a decent reward. Least, that's what I think.
