For the lore page, see Shiren:Adventure Log.

Adventure Logs (Japanese: 冒険の足跡) are a method of tracking the player's progress in Nintendo Switch/Steam Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island.

An Adventure Log keeps track of the following data for each dungeon:

  • Furthest floor reached
  • Personal best time
  • Personal best amount of turns
  • Amount of completions and tries
  • Monsters encountered by the player on each floor
Initially displayed as question marks
  • Threat level of each floor
Marks the amount of times players have collapsed on a given floor

When Internet connection features are enabled in the settings, Adventure Log data may be uploaded and downloaded when selecting "Resume Adventure" on the Top Menu, updating the data shown on the map, where personal and global averages of level and completion of each area is shown, as well as the personal and global threat level.

During Rescue and Parallel Play Adventures, the Adventure Logs don't get updated.

Unlike in previous games, the Adventure Log does not provide a checklist of things that have been accomplished in the game. Instead, this role has been given to the new Achievements section accessible from the Top Menu.
