Pauper's Plank (Japanese: 金食い虫の盾), later known as Spender's Shield, is a Shield in the Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer series. Pauper's Planks debuted in Shiren the Wanderer 5: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate in 2010.

The Pauper's Plank consumes Gitan to reduce the damage. If you have no Gitan, the shield's strength is nullified. The level 8 form is referred to as a "legendary queen's prized shield!".^[1]
